As a 3D Artist at Wren, you will be involved with delivering an industry leading experience for our end users of our 3D CAD and high-quality render systems. Working closely with the creative team that includes other 3D Artists and Developers you will play a key part in building cutting edge best - practices and asset pipelines that will cater for our ever-expanding customer base. You will already be experienced using Maya with a good understanding of Unity3D. You will be able to apply your creativity and you will be encouraged to put your ideas forward on all projects you work on.

Main responsibilities:
 
  • Creation of 3D models and textures for use in game engine and high quality renders
  • Possess a full understanding of the end-to-end 3D pipeline and architecture
  • Collaborating with JavaScript and C# Developers to investigate customer queries and rectify any issues which arise
  • Work closely with others within the 3D team to help develop better working practises and future proof asset management

About You

Essential skills and knowledge:
 
  • Strong experience of 3D modelling
  • Understanding of Maya software packages
  • Understanding of the Unity3D software package
  • Passion for driving improvement
  • Keen desire to keep up to date with technology
  • Blender Knowledge
  • Photoshop Skills
  • GIT Skills
Desirable: 
 
  • Excellent communicator
  • Degree level education or equivalent in computer science or games development
  • Experience with JavaScript, Python or C#
  • Working knowledge of the agile/scrum software development process
  • Experience with image editing software
  • Experience working with VR
