Job Description

As an Environment Artist, you will work collaboratively to create high-quality art while playing a key role in designing the memorable environments for Cyberpunk 2- the follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077 and the next major video game in the Cyberpunk franchise.
 

Daily responsibilities:

  • Participating in the creation of ideas and plans for locations/levels for Cyberpunk 2.
  • Collaborating with the Art Directors and Art Leads to maintain artistic consistency and vision for the game while building captivating worlds.
  • Participating in the creation of concepts and plans for locations/levels in our upcoming title.
  • Creating high quality 3D models fitting Cyberpunk 2 aesthetic. 
  • Setting up materials and shaders to achieve the best possible quality.
  • Collaborating with Level Designers, Concept Artists, Lighting Artists and all who are involved in creating locations.
  • Maintaining the production pipeline and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience working in the video game industry.
  • Proficiency in DCC package (Blender, Maya, Max).
  • Strong knowledge of composition, colour theory and lighting.
  • Basic knowledge of physically based rendering (PBR).
  • Creativity and a strong eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have's
(Please note that these skills are not required to apply for the position)

  • A shipped AAA title.
  • An understanding of level design principles. 
  • Experience with  photogrammetry in games.
  • Experience with procedural content creation packages (Houdini, World Machine).
  • Sculpting skills. 

Artists should include a portfolio to their application.

This job requires working in Boston, US.
Working mode: in-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity.
