As an animator/artist in the AIML Simulation group, you will have an opportunity to be part of
an innovation-focused organization within Apple that is developing simulations and generating
synthetic data. You will be able to work on highly ambitious and impactful simulation projects.
This team has a strong focus on enabling AIML-based products and features. Our ideal team
member has strong experience as an animator and strong secondary skills in environment and
hard surface modeling. They bring experience with video game and film techniques, but are also fearless when it comes to trying new things. We always value team members who can
collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across the organization.
3+ years minimum experience in animation, at least some in video games
Artistic portfolio and work samples.
Strong, fundamental art skills and experience with 3D art tools
Experience with 3D environment modeling: asset creation, texturing (Substance,
Photoshop), and optimization for real-time use
Familiarity with PBR workflows and environment art pipelines
Basic knowledge of rigging and skinning
Able to estimate their schedule and deliver products on that schedule
Can implement feedback within an iterative development process
